Yale Study Abroad
Yale Summer Session offers students the intellectual challenge they expect from Yale in classrooms that spill out onto the streets of the world. First-hand experience of foreign cultures is a basic component of a Yale education: it not only complements the student's academic study of international topics, but is also fundamental to the student's own personal development as a global citizen. We hope that studying with Yale Summer Session will mark the beginning of a lifetime of encounters with members of the global community.
Earn Yale College credit studying with Yale faculty. Yale Summer Courses Abroad are for students wishing to study outside the United States. Courses last from 4 to 10 weeks.
Summer study at the world's top universities. The Global Summer Program has opportunities abroad and a course offered in New Haven as well. Open to Yale students and IARU member institutions.
To apply. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have completed one year of college. Non-degree-seeking students who wish to apply must have a bachelor of arts or science. Some programs are only open to current Yale College students.
Yale Summer Session is a part of the Center for International and Professional Experience.
The application period for summer 2014 is December 15, 2013 to February 15, 2014.
