Program at a Glance

The Global Summer Program (GSP) brings together students from eleven of the world's top research universities to discuss critical issues in a global perspective and to collaborate on multidisciplinary approaches to these problems.  This unique experience challenges students to think creatively and to develop cross-cultural conversations and connections.

Students live in residence at the host university and engage with their peers outside the classroom in activities designed to augment study in the classroom.  All courses are taught in English and are taught by faculty from the host university.

Note: The Global Summer Program is open to Yale students and IARU partner university students. Click here for an Advising Guide of all GSP courses (2018).

The application is open and the deadline to apply is March 16, 2018.

Quote: My most notable experience from this program has been the opportunity to undertake collaborative research under expert supervision. The group project for this course allowed me to work across cultural, linguistic and academic diversity, something I value greatly. Though I have learnt a vast amount from Dr. Stefan Simon, I learnt equally from the diverse group of students with whom I undertook this course. The opportunity to interact and form lifelong friendships has been truly unique.
