Course closed to further enrollment. Online Course. Environmental sustainability and the role of green energy in mitigating the impact of greenhouse gases and global warming. Solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, wind, biofuel, hydro, geothermal, and nuclear power; ocean thermal energy conversion and harvesting of tidal power. System-level performance, overall efficiency, cost, and environmental impact of integrated green energy systems. Enrollment limited to 25 students. 1 Credit. Session B: June 30 – August 1.
