Grades, Transcripts, and Credentials

This section outlines the process for viewing your grades online, completing a course evaluation, and ordering official transcripts. It also provides information about digital credentials for non-credit programs. Please read through the instructions to ensure you follow the correct procedures for both.

Final Grades

After completing your Yale course(s) for credit, your grades will be available on the Yale Hub website by September 1st. You will be prompted to complete a course evaluation before you can access your grades.  You should complete this (or choose to decline to complete it) and then you can view your grade for the course.

Official Transcripts

Official Yale transcripts will be available for you to order (for a fee) after completing a course for credit. Before ordering a transcript, log into the Yale Hub to verify your summer grades are posted. If your grades are not posted yet in the Yale Hub, please wait until you can view your grades before ordering a transcript. 

Because there is a fee to order an official transcript, it is most economical to order multiple copies at the same time. Please refer to the University Registrar's website for all policies related to ordering an official Yale transcript.

Digital Credentials

When you successfully complete a YSS non-credit program, you will receive a digital credential so that you can record your accomplishment and share it with others. A digital credential is a web-based verification of program completion. You will receive the credential in an email soon after your program is complete, but we also provide paper certificates at your program’s closing event.
