Congratulations on your acceptance to Yale Summer Session! We're excited to have you join us online this summer. This page contains important things you need to do and think about after being admitted, but before you start taking your classes this summer. It is important to monitor the email that you used in your application for important next steps. If you are not receiving emails from our office after admission, please contact us.

Reply to Offer

Let us know you're joining us! To secure your seat in your selected courses, please submit your Reply to Offer form within two weeks using the link in your acceptance email. At that time, visiting students will be asked to pay the $500 nonrefundable tuition deposit and a $50 administrative fee. The deposit will be applied toward your tuition and reflected on your student bill. If your plans have changed, you may update your response through the same link. Please note that missing the deadline will result in withdrawal from your courses, so we encourage you to complete this step promptly.

Activate Your NetID

After completing your Reply to Offer and your deposit has been paid, you will receive two email messages regarding your Yale NetID approximately 7 to 10 business days after admission. One message will contain your NetID and the other message will contain your activation PIN and instructions. You will need to activate your NetID as soon as you receive these emails so you will have access to Yale's systems.

NetID Activation

If you are a currently-enrolled Yale student, you will continue to use your current NetID and Password.

If you have previously received a NetID and have forgotten your NetID password or need to update it, please visit the NetID Management website to resolve the issue.

Pay Your Tuition and Other Fees

Once you are admitted to Yale Summer Session, an invoice for your tuition, housing, etc. is automatically generated. See how to pay your tuition and fees, our payment deadlines and more information on our Payment and Refunds page.

Contact Student Accessibility Services as Needed

Yale University is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities in order to provide equitable and inclusive learning environments. If you are a student with a disability and would like to request disability-related accommodations, the first step is to register with Yale Student Accessibility Services, where you can include information about your situation and upload supporting documentation. If you’ve previously been approved for accommodations at Yale, you simply need to renew accommodations for the summer term. Accommodations require early and quick planning in Yale Summer Session and are not provided retroactively, so please make contact as soon as possible.
