Junjie is a student from Shanghai, China who spent his summer with YSS on-campus studying business leadership and economics.

Junjie's typical day during the summer started with a visit to the Berkeley College dining hall, grabbing a cup of coffee to kick off the day. His business seminar began at 9 a.m. and ran until noon. After that, he would head back to the dining hall for lunch before his afternoon class. After classes were done for the day, Junjie often headed to the gym with friends and grabbed dinner. In the evening, he prioritized completing homework and taking leisurely strolls around all parts of campus.

For future students, Junjie highly recommends approaching coursework by thoroughly reviewing materials. This sets the stage for more in-depth discussions with professors during class. Additionally, he says that actively participating in YSS events and activities made his New Haven summer even more incredibly enjoyable and enriching.

"I wholeheartedly endorse attending Yale Summer Session. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with some of the best professors globally, study in the breathtaking Yale campus environment, and experience the academic excellence of one of the world's most prestigious universities."

Currently, Junjie is a sophomore at Renmin University of China.
