“Being a Yale student, I am in New Haven the whole year, so some people are surprised I want to spend even more time there. But New Haven in the summer is absolutely beautiful. Not only is it warm and green, but it is just full of joy. The New Haven community comes alive with concerts on the Green, Salsa parties on Ninth Square, July 4th firework shows on East Rock, and tons of beach excursions.”

Jordan is a junior at Yale University, currently majoring in Applied Mathematics. He took courses with Yale Summer Session last summer!
“My favorite class over the summer was CS50. What made the class so enjoyable was its seminar format, as opposed to a large lecture format during the school year. This style of class helped me deepen my understanding of computer science principles while receiving much more personalized assistance that is harder to receive in a big lecture.”
“Some of my favorite summer activities included trips to New York City, helping host YSS activities, and hanging out with friends on campus. I also had the opportunity to make many new friends during the Summer from all around the world!”
“I enjoyed the quietness of New Haven during the summer. It offered a peaceful contrast to the usual hustle and bustle, allowing me to appreciate a more serene side of the city. I also would frequently go on runs around East Rock and got to explore different neighborhoods."
