Application Information
The Seminar in Art History is open to college students, graduate students, educators, artists, and lifelong learners with an interest in art, material culture, or hands-on making. No prior studio experience is expected. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the start of the program.
Program Dates: Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19, 2026

Application Materials:
Applicants must provide:
- A brief statement (250–300 words) describing your interest in the course and what you hope to gain from the experience
- A current résumé or CV (for participants who are beyond college)
- Unofficial academic transcript (students only)
Ready to Apply?
Applicants should select Session A and choose the course “YSS Art History Seminar” when completing the application.
Deadlines:
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the course is full. Early submission is encouraged. The final application deadline is Friday, April 1, 2026.
Admission Decisions:
Applicants will be notified via e-mail. Enrollment is capped to ensure meaningful hands-on engagement with objects and materials.
