Request Accommodations (If Needed)

Required for:

  • Any student requesting disability-related accommodations

May apply to:

  • Students living on campus who require housing accommodations
  • Students with dietary needs related to a disability or medical condition
  • Students requiring academic accommodations due to a disability or medical condition

Yale University is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to ensure an equitable and inclusive learning environment. Students seeking academic, residential, or disability-related accommodations should register with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and submit any required documentation as early as possible.

If you have previously received accommodations at Yale, you must renew them for the summer term.

Housing accommodations: Students living on campus who require a disability-related housing accommodation must submit a request through SAS and provide supporting documentation from their treating provider. Once room assignments have been made, housing changes may not be possible.

Dietary accommodations: Students with food allergies or medically required dietary needs should work with SAS to establish an appropriate dining plan. Students with religious dietary needs should contact Yale Hospitality directly.

Academic accommodations: Students who require academic or classroom accommodations due to a disability should submit a request through SAS and provide supporting documentation. Accommodations are determined through an individualized review process and should be requested as early as possible.

Accommodation request deadlines:

  • Session A: April 26, 2027

Meet Immunization Requirements

Required for:

  • Students attending in-person courses
  • Students living on campus

Not required for:

  • Students enrolled exclusively in online courses
  • Students enrolled exclusively in hybrid courses

Yale requires all students attending in-person courses to submit proof of required immunizations and comply with Yale's immunization policy.

As soon as your NetID is activated, review the Immunization Requirements page and upload all required documentation. Because verification can take time, we strongly recommend completing this process as early as possible.

Failure to meet the immunization requirement by the applicable deadline may result in:

  • Removal from on-campus housing
  • Inability to attend in-person courses
  • Withdrawal from Yale Summer Session

For international students studying on an I-20 issued through Yale Summer Session, failure to meet immunization requirements may also affect immigration eligibility.

Immunization Compliance Deadlines

Session A

Document Submission: April 26, 2027
Compliance: May 10, 2027

Session B

Document Submission: May 31, 2027

Your Yale ID card provides access to campus resources, including libraries, academic buildings, and, for students living on campus, residential colleges and dining halls.

Once your NetID is activated, upload your photo through the Yale ID Center website. Students who do not upload a photo by the published deadline may experience delays in receiving their ID card and accessing campus facilities.
