Online Course. Analytic geometry in three dimensions, using vectors. Real-valued functions of two and three variables, partial derivatives, gradient and directional derivatives, level curves and surfaces, maxima and minima. Parametrized curves in space, motion in space, line integrals; applications. Prerequisite: MATH 1150 or 1160; completed AP BC Calculus with a score of a 4 or 5; or Math Placement Exam results for Yale College students. Not after MATH 1210. 1 Credit.
