Yale Summer Session offers students the chance to experience Yale for the summer. We offer courses for credit and noncredit programs. Our student body is primarily comprised of Yale College students, but every summer we accept highly-qualified students from other universities and high schools. Students can live on campus in Yale's famous residential colleges, where academic community leads to lifelong friendships.
We have over 100 classes from across Yale's curriculum. Just like the academic year, they are small, interactive classes led by Yale faculty, where you can dive into a new subject, fulfill requirements, or lighten your course load in a focused and enriching setting.
At the Yale Writers' Workshop writers at all levels to hone their craft in a dynamic, supportive environment. Writers collaborate on their manuscripts in intimate workshops, attend talks with publishing professionals, and build a community centered on their writing.
Yale's English Language Institute’s summer programs give international students or professionals a unique opportunity to experience Yale’s historic campus while strengthening their English skills and building academic and professional competencies.
The Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors offers an immersive, intensive program introducing foundational acting techniques. In five weeks, aspiring actors are equipped with essential skills that form a solid base for advanced theater training.
