In-person Course. Development of skills essential to non-fiction writing, with an emphasis on memoir, characterization, and narrative, as well as the ethical and practical considerations involved in writing about real people. Students review the work of classmates and professional writers to learn techniques for representing love, intimacy, and family structures and systems. Enrollment limited to 22 students. 1 Credit. Session A: May 27 – June 28. Tuition: $5070.
