Yale Summer Session 2026

Experience Yale This Summer

Yale Summer Session offers students the chance to experience Yale for the summer. We offer courses for credit and noncredit programs. Our student body is primarily comprised of Yale College students, but every summer we accept highly-qualified students from other universities and high schools. Students can live on campus in Yale's famous residential colleges, where academic community leads to lifelong friendships.

Courses for Credit

Courses for Credit

We have over 100 classes from across Yale's curriculum. Just like the academic year, they are small, interactive classes led by Yale faculty, where you can dive into a new subject, fulfill requirements, or lighten your course load in a focused and enriching setting.

English Language Institute

English Language Institute

Yale's English Language Institute’s summer programs give international students or professionals a unique opportunity to experience Yale’s historic campus while strengthening their English skills and building academic and professional competencies.

Join our vibrant residential community and live in one of Yale’s iconic residential colleges. Our staff—made up of Yale students and alumni—organize a wide range of activities, including field trips, study breaks, sports, and game nights. It’s a great way to have fun, experience Yale, and make lasting connections.
