Signature Programs

YSS Signature Programs are five-week, cohort-based summer programs in which students earn Yale College course credit and participate in immersive, experiential activities beyond the classroom. Yale-quality classroom instruction is paired with field trips, guest speakers, and collaborative projects. Students build close relationships with their instructors and the other members of the program. They also have access to Yale's broader resources and the option to live on campus and participate in Yale Summer Session's residential program. In 2026, YSS will have three Signature Programs.
